Robyn Powell - Never too Far, Never too Few - 100 Years of Bush Church Aid

The Bush Church Aid Society came into being on a wet night in 1919. The handful of people who met that night in the Chapter House at St Andrew’s Cathedral in Sydney could never have known the impact their prayers and plans would have on remote and rural Australia. In the 100 years since then, men and women have ministered in every state as well as the Northern Territory as preachers and teachers, doctors and nurses, pilots and technicians, houseparents and pastoral carers, cooks, cleaners and in innumerable other nameless jobs. The offices have been staffed by generations of faithful volunteers who have taken on mundane tasks to free up those on the field. Thousands of supporters have faithfully prayed for every day of those 100 years. This book is a tribute to all of those people who have seen God bless the past 100 years, and who continue to pray for God’s blessing as the Bush Church Aid Society marches on to the next century.
